Our Story

Founded With Purpose

Nexis Process Safety (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2026 in Centurion, Gauteng, by specialists who identified a critical gap in the South African and broader African market: the need for a dedicated process safety firm combining deep technical expertise with a practical, Africa-first approach.

Too many African businesses were receiving formulaic, compliance-checkbox consulting - or relying on international firms without contextual understanding of local regulatory environments, operational realities and cultural dynamics. Industries were being put at risk not by ignorance, but by insufficient specialist support.

Nexis PS was built to be different: technically uncompromising, practically grounded, and genuinely passionate about protecting people who work in hazardous industries across the continent. Every study we deliver, every management system we implement, every audit we conduct - is driven by that founding purpose.
